Terms of Use (Android App)

By downloading or using the TopTime Android Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must uninstall the application immediately.
1. Purpose of the App
TopTime is a workforce management tool designed to facilitate attendance tracking, leave management, and HR record-keeping between you (the "User") and your employer (the "Subscriber").
2. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
You agree to use the app responsibly and honestly. Specifically:
- Accuracy: You must provide accurate information when uploading documents, entering bank details, or submitting profile data.
- Location Tracking Consent: If your employer has enabled "Live Tracking," you acknowledge that you will be presented with a separate prompt upon "Clock In" to confirm your consent for location tracking. You understand that accepting this prompt is required to start your shift under your employer's policy.
- Location Integrity: You strictly agree not to use GPS spoofing apps, emulators, or any other method to falsify your location. Falsifying attendance location is a violation of these terms and potentially your employment contract.
- Security: You are responsible for keeping your device secure. Do not share your login credentials.
3. Data Usage & Syncing
- Biometric Sync: The app displays attendance data synced from your company’s physical devices (e.g., ZKTeco, Hanido). The mobile app itself does not capture biometric data (fingerprints/face ID).
- Connectivity: The app requires an active internet connection to sync. Offline actions (if enabled by your employer) will sync once connectivity is restored.
4. Liability & Disclaimers
- Service Availability: While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for attendance missed due to device failure, battery depletion, or network outages.
- Payroll Accuracy: The app collects data (e.g., bank details, attendance hours) for processing, but your Employer is solely responsible for the final calculation and disbursement of salaries. TopTime is not a bank or a payroll service provider.
5. Account Security & Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Device Security: You must keep your mobile device secure and ensure that only authorized individuals have access to your TopTime account.
- Account Access: Your access to the app is tied to your employment status. Access may be revoked upon termination of employment with your employer.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Android app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Topform Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business interruption arising from the use of the app.
We are not responsible for device damage, battery drain, or data usage charges incurred from using the app.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms, including fraudulent use of attendance features, repeated GPS spoofing attempts, or attempts to reverse-engineer the application code.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the UAE.
